Am meditat zilele astea la rolul ONG-urilor. Clara ne-a provocat pe toti sambata sa discutam pe baza prezentarii ei despre rolul ONG-urilor in societate. Agentia de Monitorizare a Presei si alte ONG-uri vechi din Romania sunt de parere ca principalul rol al societatii civile, reprezentata de institutii de tip ONG, este de a fi watchdog. Caine de paza care sa sanctioneze statul si companiile. Sociologii si absolventii de stiinte politice spun ca rolul ONG-urilor este de a fi sectorul civil care sa intervina acolo unde statul nu are cunostintele, resursele umane si vointa politica sa intervina.
